Japanese Edo Imperial Presentation Satsuma Jar with Silver Lid. Japanese Edo Period 19th century Imperial presentation mid 19th century Satsuma Jar with an original silver pierced lid. The Jar is decorated with 8 Imperial Chrysanthemums over upper part of the vase and an imperial lid with a Chrysanthemums. The lid is pure silver and has an original patina. The Jar is decorated with flying dragons and symbolic flowers and rich symbolic decorations over the top and the bottom. The Shimazu mon is on the bottom. It has no chips, no cracks, no damages.
