Artist/signature : Signed “Kinkozan Zo” to the underside of the base in gold enamel. Condition : The piece is in perfect condition without damage. Comments : A fine Japanese Satsuma lidded jar, dating from the Meiji period. The piece is ornately decorated with millefleurs “thousand flower” patterning. The decoration is hand applied using a range of coloured enamels, outlined and detailed in gold. Accompanied by the original fitted lid, with decoration to match the body.
