Big Japanese Edo Porcelain Jar w/ Foo-Dog. Big Japanese Edo Period (mid 19th century) rare museum quality Porcelain Jar. It has a gilded sculpture of Foo-Dog on top, fine birds with under-glazed and slightly raised feathers and legs, a panoramic scene with seven geese and Bamboo bushes, and moon over flying geese. There are two flying geese are on a lid and symbolic floral decorations on a side of the lid and top of the vase. The Jar has magnificent colors and great decorations.
